Kenalog

Kenalog is a steroid drug used to reduce swelling and inflammation. It is commonly prescribed for eczema, psoriasis, and allergic reactions. Kenalog cream, injections, and mouth paste forms are available. Kenalog creams are used for skin conditions, and the mouth paste is used to treat ulcers in the mouth. Kenalog injections may be given for infections of the eye, or joint problems such as arthritis. The size of the Kenalog vial is dependant upon the strength of Kenalog you are using. The generic name for Kenalog is Triamcinonlone.

Kenalog side effects include skin reactions such as peeling or itching, and stretch marks. More serious side effects such as irregular heartbeat, insomnia, and weight gain are possible, and require emergency medical assistance, as do allergic reactions. Kenalog is a class "C" drug, so women who are nursing or pregnant should not use it. Women using Kenalog should notify their doctor right away if they become pregnant. if you have any other medical conditions, especially diabetes or any type of infection (such as chicken pox), your doctor should know before prescribing Kenalog to you. Many medications may interact poorly with Kenalog, while other medications may not. For example, Celeston and Kenalog are often prescribed together. To avoid dangerous drug interactions, your doctor must be told about all other medications you take, including over the counter and vitamin or herbal supplements.

Overdose of Kenalog is very unlikely, as most patients use the cream form of this medication. However, it is possible to absorb more Kenalog than intended if you cover the area where you apply the Kenalog. This generally only leads to an increase in side effect occurence, not necessarily an overdose. However, you should seek medical attention if anyone ingests (eats) any form of Kenalog, as it is not meant to be taken by mouth, and may cause adverse side effects. Therefore, it is especially important to keep Kenalog out of the reach of children. Do not use Kenalog on skin that is already irritated, such as sunburned or chapped skin.

If your medical condition makes it difficult for you to go to your local pharmacy to buy Kenalog, there are many online pharmacies that can help. These pharmacies will deliver to your home for your convenience. Many of these online pharmacies also offer Kenalog with next day delivery or overnight delivery if you need it quickly. Prices and shipping fees will vary, so you should check several sources before buying.
