It might be your medical conditions, or it might be other medications you are taking and the effect that those medicines mixed with Piroxicam can have on your body. Other drugs can interfere with the effectiveness of Piroxicam, or Piroxicam can cause the other drug to become useless, or the combination could prove dangerous. Such medications include certain blood thinners, steroids, diuretics, and more. This is why your physician should be informed of all medications you are taking at all times. It is also important to avoid cold and allergy medications while taking Piroxicam. If you need a medication like this, talk to the pharmacist or your doctor before taking it.
