Septra DS
Septra DS is a type of medicine that is in a group of bacteria fighting drugs. These drugs often work in conjunction with one another and each individual drug specializes in a different type of treatment. Septra DS is typically used for urinary tract infections, although there are other uses as well. Septra DS tabs for headache can be used, and there is a different Septra DS dosing for Norcodia.
Septra DS has many side effects, and these side effects can be increased or altered and made worse if mixed with another medication. Cocktails such as Septra DS + Ambien can prove dangerous when taken by certain individuals. Septra DS has not been proven to cause birth defects and Septra DS miscarriages haven’t been thoroughly studied. However, there have been many studies on rats and other animals and Septra DS did show birth defects in the babies once they were born, sometimes severe defects in the bones. So it is not recommended that expectant mothers take Septra DS unless absolutely necessary. Side effects of Septra DS tabs can include blood problems and skin sensitivity. While taking the Septra DS tablet, you will be more susceptible to sunburns, and blood problems can develop while taking the Septra DS tab. These blood problems mean you will need to take extra precautions when brushing your teeth and using toothpicks because excessive bleeding can occur. Your doctor will need to monitor your condition the entire time you take Septra DS to make sure your symptoms do not become severe.
There are also less severe common side effects of Septra DS, and these can include itching skin, aching of joints and muscles, and abdominal pain. If you experience any side effects such as these, contact your healthcare provider so they can determine whether to keep you on Septra DS or to change your dosage amount. In some situations, depending on the severity of your side effects as well as your medical health, your doctor may opt to take you off Septra DS and switch you to a different medicine.
Septra DS should not be mixed with other medications unless expressly ordered by a doctor. It is best if this is the same doctor that prescribed Septra DS. If not, you should make sure that any doctor prescribing you any medication knows that you are taking Septra DS, and if you need to take an over the counter medication for any reason, you should talk to your pharmacist about whether it is likely to interact with Septra DS or not.
